Wayne G. Winters entered into rest on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Beloved Husband of 50 years to Karon K. Winters (nee: Eichhorn) Dear Pops of Chris (Nancy) Winters. Dear Grandfather of William Wayne Winters. Beloved friend to Sable. Dear Brother of Elrain Rodden and Donna Kramer. Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Wayne served our country in the U.S. Marine Corp, he retired from Anheuser-Busch brewery after 34 years of service. If desired, please make expressions of sympathy in Wayne’s memory to any Veterans Organization. The funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of Hoffmeister South County Chapel 1515 Lemay Ferry Road on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will start on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. until time of service and after service until 8 p.m. Inurnment with full military honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery will be at a later date. I played with you for two seasons and for your Dad one season. I learned a lot from him and always enjoyed seeing him at the rink. He had great passion for the game and passed that on to us. I am so sorry for your loss Chris and to Mrs. Winters as well.

Im so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing, the memories are still vivid,countless games, countless Tournments. Years of memories of 'Hair Head ' makeing great plays.0f course being brewery guys we always had beer afterwards. Rest in peace my friend. Wiezer
