I am so thankful to have had this wonderful person as a friend. He taught me how to see the world in a different way. His funny quips and constant barbs and in your face way of making something you needed to recognize (but didn't want to) seem acceptable and even funny was such a gift. He made me slow down, see the world, see the birds, and he made me work a little harder. Even though he was twice my age, he'd blast past me on the climbs on his bike. Thank you Rudden family for having provided the world with the lovely man named Bill. He was a treasure to so many.

One of the most amazing events I witnessed was Bill's retirement gathering. Hundreds of friends and family attended. He gave so much of himself to others that he was richly blessed in return with friends from all walks of life.
Bill helped me (and many others) train for marathons and an Ironman. We spent many hours running and biking together. One of the greatest gifts from the time spent with Bill was his sincerity and common sense approach to life. He was everyone's Pastor, psychologist, physician, and friend.
It is Easter for Bill as we are promised everlasting life through Christ.

I remember Bill from the So Co YMCA, he was always one of the ring leaders & an inspiration to us lesser athletes. May you rest in peace.
