Ms Dot and I would sit in the sitting room and talk for hours when Jaiden was little. I remember she would sometimes give me this sheepish look and ask, "could you help me with my hair, please?" And I'd set to work curling it up how she wanted. She'd apologize for being a bother or adding to my plate, but it was special moments with her. She loved her kids, and adored her granddaughters! She was always ready to tell me about what her priest said or how much she enjoyed 'her prayers' that morning. The last time I saw her, she touched my cheek (as she usually did, if you know her) and was quick to remind me, "You are still so beautiful". She said this to A LOT OF PEOPLE, because that's just the little woman she was! She'll be missed greatly! I'm praying for the loved ones she left behind... my heart grieves with you all in the days ahead.
