Early "Calan" Boudreaux

ST. MARTINVILLE – Funeral Services will be conducted for Early “Calan” Boudreaux, age 79, at 2:00 pm Monday, December 27, 2010 at St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery with Travis Savoie officiating. Interment will be held at St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery in Coteau Holmes.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm on Sunday until service time on Monday. The funeral home will remain open all night. A Eulogy service will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday. A native and resident of St. Martin Parish, Mr. Boudreaux passed away at 12:05 am on Friday, December 24, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Boudreaux is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Aucoin Boudreaux; children, Earline Boudreaux and her husband Blaine Hebert; Michael”Mike” Boudreaux and wife Sheila; Isaac “Ike”Boudreaux and wife Gillian and Darrel “Boo” Boudreaux and wife Connie all of Bayou Portage. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, Bonita Richard, Roxanne Smith, Tracy Danos, Mandy Boudreaux, Sage Landry, Taylor Hebert, Cypress Boudreaux, Early Boudreaux, Dalton Boudreaux and Jake Boudreaux and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Aurelia Bonin Boudreaux; granddaughter, Reba Boudreaux; one brother, Necess Boudreaux and one sister, Rose Boudreaux and his nephew, Samuel Boudreaux.

Pallbearers will be Michael Boudreaux, Isaac Boudreaux, Darrel Boudreaux, Blaine Hebert, Robert Richard and Samuel Boudreaux.

Honorary pallbearers will be Early Boudreaux, Dalton Boudreaux, Jake Boudreaux, Kevin Smith, Wayne Smith, Robert Richard, Jr., Gage Boudreaux, Alberie Hebert, Gerard Hebert, Louis Hebert, James Smith, Isaac Danos and David Danos.

Calan was a great person, fun to visit and be around .You always felt very welcomed and at home at Calan and Ruths house. We really enjoyed the times we spent there. He will be missed by all. Sorry for your loss but he won't be suffering any more. We won't be able to make the funeral but our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
