Throughout his life, Thomas wore many hats. But a cowboy hat, he looked best in. Thomas was a hardworking man for many years, until injuries caused an early retirement. Known by many as a jack of all trades, he worked as a boat captain, on the pipeline, and applied his knowledge and skills as an electrician in the commercial business industry. He was an exceptional carpenter whose hands shaped more than just wood. They built memories, homes and lasting impressions.
Thomas’s legacy is one of resilience, love and strength. A man who enjoyed time spent listening to music with family and friends. His life touched many and his memory will continue to live on through the lives he helped shape and the countless “True Stories” he shared with those who knew him.
A Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Evangeline Funeral Home in New Iberia.
His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
