Warren Terry Olivier

ST. MARTINVILLE – A memorial Mass will be celebrated for Warren Terry Olivier, age 59, on Monday, June 27, 2011 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church. Msgr. Douglas Courville will be the celebrant. Inurnment will follow in Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. Warren passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at a Lafayette hospital.

A wake/gathering was held on Saturday, June 25, with many family and friends in attendance.

Warren was born September 15, 1951 to Pierre and Pearly LeBlanc Olivier in St. Martin Parish. He was a lifelong mechanic and loved working on engines of all types.

Survivors include his children, Dwarren James Olivier and wife Melissa of Parks, Jade Elizabeth Olivier of Baton Rouge, and Zachary Jude Olivier of St. Martinville; three grandchildren, Logan Angelle, Taylor Olivier, and Braedan Olivier; and two brothers, Gerald Olivier and wife Patsy of Catahoula, and Newell Olivier of Parks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pierre and Pearly Olivier; two brothers, Sherman and Charles Richard Olivier; and a niece and nephew, Tina Olivier Tauzin and Richie Olivier.
