She was born in Kaunas, Lithuania and emigrated to the United States in 1949.
Aldona married Dr. Gedas Grinis in 1955. After living in Chicago they retired to St. Pete Beach in 1987.
She leaves behind her son Dr. Gedas, daughter Dr. Asta, five Grandchildren and sister Rima Gudaitas. Aldona is also survived by many more family members in America, Canada and Lithuania.
A funeral service for Aldona will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Beach Memorial Chapel, 301 Corey Avenue St. Pete Beach, 33706. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Woodlawn Memory Gardens, 101 58th ST S, St Petersburg, FL 33707.
