GORTZ, Arvilla M Kjerstenson (Sue) 103, of St Petersburg went home to be with the Lord July 24, 2018. Sue was born in Chicago September 8, 1914 and survived by her daughter, Diane Klingel and son, Dell Gortz and 3 grandchildren; Rob, Rick and Brad plus 7 great grandchildren; Jack, Joe, Nick, Reese, Kendall, Adara and Weston.
Sue and her husband Walt moved to Treasure Island in 1967 and purchased the Jamaican Motel which they both enjoyed running and entertaining all the many Northern guests until Walt passed away in 1968. Sue's secret to a long life is one Old Fashion and 8 ounces of chocolate per day. May she rest in peace with her beloved Walt.
