Bertha A Rickman Kelley

KELLEY, Bertha A. 85, of St Petersburg, went home to the Lord Feb 28, 2017. She was born in Georgetown, IL on Feb 10, 1932 to parents August and Stella (Andrews) Rickman. Bertha relocated to Florida in 1977 from Addison, IL and worked as a registered nurse for Northside Hospital in St Petersburg until her retirement in 1999. She had a strong Christian faith and was a longtime member of the Northwest Church of Christ in St. Petersburg. Her hobbies included reading, sewing and crafting. She is predeceased by husband Victor Paul Kelley who died in 1995. Survivors include son Victor Kent Kelley (Diana), daughter, Carol Kelley Wood (Francis), sister, Shirley Durr, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. A life celebration service is planned for Saturday March 11, 2017 at the hour of 11 am at Northwest Church of Christ 6355 38th Ave St. Petersburg, FL 33710. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Northwest Church of Christ Building Fund as tribute.
