Cheryl Ann O'Hearn

March 18, 1963August 3, 2018

O'HEARN, Cheryl Ann, age 55 of Tierra Verde, FL passed away peacefully Friday August 3, 2018. She is survived by her beloved best friend and husband of 30 years, Brian; daughters Brianna, Mikayla, and Kristina; parents Sheila and James Goldrick; sisters Deborah Murphy and Susan Harrison. After migrating south from New England, Cheryl adapted to the Floridian lifestyle in no time. There is nothing she enjoyed more than the sand between her toes and the wind in her hair being surrounded by loved ones. She visited the beach daily with her husband Brian, was known as a regular at several restaurants, and enjoyed documenting evening sunsets. Cheryl was a dedicated mother and nothing made her happier than seeing her daughters happy. A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday August 11th from 11 am to 12 noon at Beach Memorial Chapel 301 Corey Avenue St Pete Beach 360-5577. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12 noon. For all those who read this today we ask that you embrace Cheryl's motto "Stuff happens, now let's make memories". In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at pancan.org/donate. The family asks that all that attend come in beach appropriate attire. To all the Goldricks, to Brian and the girls, my deepest, most heartfelt condolences for a very special woman with a smile that is for sure making heaven an even brighter place.
As a friend, classmate, and cheerleader, Cheryl was always positive, supportive, and kind. I truly don't ever remember a time when Cheryl wasn't anything but a beautiful, caring, happy, and genuine human being! I am saddened by her loss but will always remember the wonderful high school memories that many of us shared. I pray that she's resting in peace.
May God bless you all with strength and healing,

Cheryl was one of those people in life who others adore automatically and hope to be more like. A bright light with a warm smile and infectious laugh, Cheryl was at home in the Florida sunshine and the relaxation of a good beach. I only briefly knew her and will always regret that it was not for much, much longer. This will be a favorite memory: Cheryl standing on her balcony in the sun waving to us on a boat below. A good friend who sailed away too soon.

Beautiful Cheryl was not just a friend to me, but she was like my family member. She thought me how to be humble through the ups and downs of life. She was in my heart, she is in my heart, and she will be in my heart. Her connection was love and kindness and it will be with me forever. Until we meet again, rest in peace my dearest "Nana".

Through my long friendship with her aunt Claire, I feel as if I have known Cheryl all of her life, a beautiful niece, daughter, wife and mother. How you will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you gather this weekend. God bless you all.
