Luther gave everyone at Envoy a paradise on earth. We will all miss him dearly. His spirit though will live on through his fabulous garden.

 My regards to the entire Cook family on the recent loss of Luther your husband  and father. I have many fond memories of my early Real Estate activity with Luther.Yes he was very generous with his time and money .Most of the time when Luther joined his crew for lunch he would tell the waiter to put every ones tab on his bill.Luther gave me positive consultation at some very difficult times in my personal life.I am glad I knew J. Luther Cook  for he was a man with integrity and I feel altogether benefited by having had an association with him.

Luther put "The Flora in Florida" at the Envoy Beach Garden. I met him one time, I am the summer gardener since 2013. It's a great honor and privilege to tend this garden with the Garden Committee in the spirit Luther did:
Maintain, Make Better, Beautify!

You will be missed Uncle Luther!  Tell Dad & Grandma I said, "Hi".

So, so sorry about Luther.  Danny and I are so glad to have met him.  He was such a nice person.  His beach garden is so beautiful.  All of St. Pete Beach will have memories of him forever just by walking through it.  Please let your mother know that we send our condolences to her. My wife (Joy) and I spent many happy hours with Luther and Pat during our early years of marriage.  We laughed, ate, competed and enjoyed life together. Grandpa, I am truly blessed to have known you. You will be missed dearly by many! I love you and I know we will all see you again. To the Cook family, I wish I could be there for all of you. Mr. Cook will always be remembered in house because of the picture of President Reagan he gave us. The picture will always be displayed prominently in our home in honor of both men. God bless the family.
