HarborChase Assisted Living in Palm Harbor. He was born in Albert Lea, MN on May 12,1923
and moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1947 after serving in the US Army Air Corps (1942-1946).
He was a general contractor, builder and developer in St Petersburg and Pinellas County for 46
years. (James T Nelson & Associates, Inc) He left a beautiful building imprint in the area.
Survivors include a son, Kim A Nelson of Indian Rocks Beach, a daughter Karen N Bauman of
Tampa, their spouses Maureen O Nelson and Ronald T Bauman, as well as, 3 sisters and 1
brother in other parts of the country. He was predeceased by his wife “Billie” Nelson. In lieu of
flowers, the family welcomes contributions to be made to SuncoastHospice.org.
