What can I say, but for as long as I can remember, I love this family just as an extension of my family. Mama Nina, you are the most loving, gentle, sweetest soul. I love your faithfulness and your joyful smile. Your heart is always so big and filled with so much love to give to everyone who you touched in your lifetime. You're always so beautiful - inside and out.

I am thankful that we have so many fun and wonderful memories of birthdays, holidays, poolside parties, and simple visits. No matter where we were, it was always filled with happiness, singing, cooking, eating, some cocktails, FAMILY, friends, and most of all LOVE and good times!

I loved watching you on Facebook doing so much. ALWAYS on the go. Your love for your family and friends always shined through so brightly. Yours is a life so well lived, that I can only hope for half of that and I would be complete.

One of my many favorite times was when my parents were in town and we went to the beach club for lunch. It was so much fun! My parents love your spirit and how you interacted with everyone around you. They would talk about it for days. How cute Nina is!

Mama Nina, we will miss you with all our hearts and we will be together again in Heaven. Watch over us and keep us safe. Heaven got an amazing angel!! So blessed to have been part of your life and to have you in ours. Your memory lives on in everyone who loves you and we will miss you so much!!

Speak to you in our dreams.

Here's one of my favorite pictures from the lunch at the beach club. You're back with your love.

With much love,

Dear Nina, I only got to know you these past few years but I feel like we were friends and family all of my life. You brought joy and light to every place you entered. I will miss you at our lunches and concerts and your wonderful dancing ladies text emojis. May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

I met and fell in love with Nina in the Women on a Faith Journey group at Pass-a-Grille Church. She was open, honest and loving and she was generous in sharing stories of her faith Journey. I can picture her as a little girl, sitting perfectly still and contemplative on Good Friday morning as Mama required. She was beauty and grace personified and I laugh when I recall her saying, “What can I say? I’m Sicilian.”
Nina, you are etched in my memory forever. I know you are enjoying being reunited with all those you love who were waiting for you in Heaven.
Miss you always!

Nina is one of those unforgetable people who come into your life and uplifts your spirit.

when a young lady she would come into our grocery store and the energy level suddenly got better. Always positive in everything she said.

She is in heaven with Art...... free of pain .... looking after the ones she loved so much from up there. " Unforgetable is what you are.....unforgetable...... though near or far" Rest in peace my friend.

I worked with Nina (and also Art) at the YMCA. Nina was great to work with, but was an especially great friend. She was beautiful inside and out. My first daughter’s middle name is from her daughter, Allison. My heartfelt sympathy to her entire family and friends.

Dearest Mama Nina, I have thought of you often in the past few years, and on Saturday evening while shopping for food in VA with my brother, I said the word “pasta” ... but I said it the way you always did with your perfect Buffalonian accent and said out loud I always loved the way Patty’s Mom, Nina, said “pasta!” Lol.
You always made us smile, were always kind, always beautiful and you were a wonderful Mom and wife. Sending our deepest sympathies to your family. Will always love you. ❤️💔

I grew up on St. James Place with the older Di Christopher children and Nina. I remember how beautiful I always thought she was and I was always at their house. Patty was my best friend. Nina was like a second mom to me. I have so many special memories of her .I was so sad when I moved to North Buffalo . I will always have a special place in my heart 💜 for her.

Your beautiful smile is seen in both Alison and Lili - forever alive through the ones that were closest to you - it was a pleasure to have been in your presence if only just a few times for a few moments - life is about simple interactions with special people - and you certainly were one of those people - God bless!
