Peter Birrow

Peter Joseph Birrow, 77, of Gulfport, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on December 16, 1947, in Lowell, Massachusetts, Peter was the son of the late Francis and Margaret Birrow. He attended Sacred Heart School, Keith Academy and received a degree from Franklin Institute.

Peter served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1969 where he forged lifelong friendships. A career in the railroad industry followed, working for many years at Boston & Maine Railroad.

In 1970 he married Susan Roth and they raised their family in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts. He was a loving husband and father. Together they shared 54 years of marriage.

Peter was a man of service. He always gave 100% whether it was the Lions Club, Cacti Association or serving on various Boards at Town Shores. He also enjoyed RVing with his family, Corvettes, NASCAR and spending time with his brother in laws.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Birrow; his daughters, Rebecca Lyons (Stephen) and Jessica Cardoso (Orlando); his sister, Annabelle Fulks (the late Richard); his brother, Paul Birrow (Donna); and many nieces and nephews.
