Dick and I lived across the water on Vina from Claude and Pressy. We always enjoyed seeing them and it seems they were always both smiling. The photo of Pressy is wonderful. My favorite memory was of a time when our papaya tree blew over, top heavy with about 40 very green papayas. I had NO idea what to do with green ones. I recall how excited Pressy was to take them off our hands and when I learned that she had a way to cook them I was also excited. Well, she brought us a sample of the savory green papaya main dish - fabulous ...but I never got the recipe. :( We were sorry when they moved.

It’s been a pleasure to know Pressy. She invited me to the best salmon dinner i’ve ever had —prepared by her with such wonderfu spices.
I shall always remember the warmth she showed me n certainly how she loved her wonderful family. So POSITIVE.
GOD REST HER GOOD SOUL AND MAY Perpetual LIGHT SHINE ON HER.
your neighbor, Annette
