Sharon taught in Worthington when I first transferred into the district. She was such an encouraging person and I loved her pleasant laugh. She taught a course at Otterbein one summer called Tribes II, which I had the pleasure of taking. It was a very memorable class in that it was fun, helpful, interesting, and loving. In a way, that's how Sharon always was at school. She was highly respected and I never heard an unkind word said against her by anyone. She enjoyed life and her Christian faith was evident through her actions and speech. I share your grief in learning of her passing. May you find peace and comfort in this time of difficulty and loss. -Mark Bradshaw

Sharon, Robyn Petras and I enjoyed several special moments together as we taught the Tribes philosophy to fellow teachers at local universities and
school districts throughout Ohio. We also traveled to California to receive additional training together. Sharon was an amazing friend! She loved life! I don't ever remember seeing her without a smile She was so genuinely kind and thoughtful and told great stories. She knew how to think on her feet and problem solved with the best of them. She loved her family with all her heart. She will be missed.

To family and friends, my thoughts and prayers are with you. My memories of Sharon are few but very clear. I remember “The Singing Sisters “. I always felt as though I walked in the shadows of amazing women in the Younkman and Winegardner families. Sometimes life’s lessons are not taught directly but rather observed. Sharon was a great teacher and now is smiling down on the lives of all those she touched. Find comfort in the memories that were created and shared. My love to you all.
