Stephanie Kruy

Stephanie Zysk Kruy was born in New York City in 1944 to Stephen and Marrianne Zysk. She grew up in Stratford, Connecticut and attended Bunnell High School. She went on to the University of Connecticut where she majored in Math and Chemistry. She graduated with high honors.

Upon graduation, she marries and taught school for a few years. She has three children Steven, Cathy and Robby. She also earned a master’s in business administration from Riviera College. She later taught classes at the local community college.

She worked for Souhegan National Bank and was known as a acquisition specialist. The bank was growing and as they bought smaller banks. She trained the new personnel in the procedures used by Souhegan Bank.

Stephanie was a consummate Rotarian. Every time she relocated to train newly acquired bank personnel; she joined their local Rotary Club. She became President of three of them. She moved to Florida in 2014 to be close to family and was a member of the Gulf Beaches Rotary.

She was a special Aunt to her brother’s two sons, Tom and Nick and Great Aunt to their children Pela, Clara, Remington and Bowlynn. Her kindness and gentleness were a legend. She always knew how to calm the waters. She loved to be with family and join all the fun. To quate her mother, “she was a good egg”

A celebration of life will be held July 8th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Beach Memorial Chapel.
