Born in the Bronx, New York on December 5, 1928 peacefully passed away on May 10, 2014 in Palms of Pasadena, Pasadena, Florida. Bill attended St Augustine's, Del La Salle Academy and graduated from Manhattan College. He was a teacher at Incarnation in upper Manhattan from 1950 to 1953. He was manager of several offices for GECC in New York City, Flint Michigan and Connecticut. Employed by NY Phillips (NORELCO) where he operated distribution centers throughout the U.S. He was also vice-president of Rock of Ages, Barrie, Vermont after which retired to St. Pete Beach Florida in 1972.
Pre deceased by parents John and Elizabeth Callahan and wife Rita (Browne) and infant son James. Leaving to mourn is his loving and devoted wife Audrey Callahan (Peach), his children Cathleen(John), Michael, and Christin. Also 5 grandchildren Catlin, Brendan, Alana, Ryan, and Deidre; 2 step daughters Lenor Beitenman(Erin) and Lorraine Knight(Brian), 2 step grandchildren Gregory and Alexandra; cousin Maureen and other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to De La Salle Christian Brothers or a charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated.
