HOOKS, William A “Archie”, 90 of St Petersburg, FL passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Inn at the Fountains of St Petersburg. Archie was born November 20, 1925 in Birmingham, AL to the late Jedson J & Ruby (Russell) Hooks. He moved to this area in 1956 coming from Gadsden, AL. Archie served his country during WWII and the Korea War in the United States Navy. He was predeceased by his loving wife Betty D Hooks in 2004. Archie is survived by two sons John R Hooks and William J Hooks along with 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Cremation will take place and there will be no service.
