Navitha Sallapudi

Navitha Sallapudi, age 57, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 19, 1969, in Kakinada, India, Navitha moved to the Caribbean with her family at a very young age, settling first in Antigua and then in St. Lucia, where she spent her formative teen years. She later moved to the United States for college, earning her Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and her MBA from the University of Tampa, and proudly became a U.S. citizen in 2021. Professionally, Navitha carved out a successful career bridging the finance and technology disciplines, bringing artistic creativity and dedication to her work. Yet her true center was always her loved ones. Deeply devoted to her faith as an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg, she had a vibrant soul and a natural eye for elegance; she loved keeping up with the latest fashion trends and was constantly complimented on her impeccable sense of style. Above all, she treasured her people. She was fiercely close to those she loved, finding her greatest happiness simply in gathering together, sharing laughter, and creating warm memories with her family. She was predeceased by her beloved mother, whose passing brought her deep sorrow, and is survived by her devoted husband, Mark Joseph Edmond; her loving father; her brother and sister; and a vast, cherished circle of close relatives and dear friends spread all over the world who will miss her profoundly. A church service will be held in her honor at Grace Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg, followed by arrangements through Tobias Funeral Home and burial at David’s Cemetery in Ohio. Visitation will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 4301 16th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33703, US, on October 30, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at Grace Lutheran Church, 4301 16th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33703, US, on October 30, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
