Allen Dwight Lehman

Allen is survived by his wife Susie Lehman; father, Dwight Lehman; daughter, Dayna Sanchez and her husband Ernest; son, Jeff Ellison; step-son, Todd Riley; stepson, Timothy Riley; brother, David Lehman and his wife Corrine; brother Richard Lehman and his wife Nancy; sister, Cynthia Summers and her husband Glen; sister-in-law, Muriel Lehman; grandchildren, Ava and Ajax Sanchez. He is preceded in death by his mother Beverly Lehman; and brother, Dan Lehman.

Allen retired from a successful career as a salesman in the electrical supply industry. He was proud of his Iowa roots, and on his visits back home he loved taking trips out to the farms. After his retirement two years ago, Allen went home to Iowa and spent treasured time every day for 3 months with his mom and dad. He enjoyed spending time bowling, golfing, and had competed in pool tournaments on the national level. He loved sports, and sharing his love of baseball with his two grandchildren Ava and Ajax. He was especially grateful to his daughter Dayna for giving him grandchildren. Allen shared a special close bond with Todd and Tim and shared numerous interests with them. He will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends for visitation at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Earthman Southwest Chapel, with burial to follow in Morton Cemetery in Richmond, Texas.
