AVENELLE ELIZABETH McCRAITH KLEPFER, age 86, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012, in Sugar Land, TX. She was born February 18, 1926, in Peoria, Illinois, to William and Wilhelmina McCraith. Avenelle was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son, Paul; and grandson, Matthew Kero. She is survived by her daughters, Anita Klepfer and Mary Kero (Tom); sons, Richard (Suzanne)and Michael (Barbara); grandchildren, Erin Weiss (Rick), Kristen Coy (Mike), Wesley Klepfer (Melanie), Andrew Klepfer, Katie Kero, and Jessica Kero; great-grandsons, Gavin and Dylan Weiss; and many friends and neighbors. Avenelle was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be missed by those who knew her. Visitation: 6:30 to 9:00 PM, on Friday, December 21, 2012, at Earthman Southwest Chapel, Stafford, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 am, on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Sugar Land, with a reception immediately following in the community center.
