BERNADETTE CANLAS EUGENIO, age 52, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 18, 2010, following complications after recent heart surgery. Berna was born on May 27, 1958 in Manila, Philippines. She was the second eldest of five children. Berna was a devout Catholic, a hard-working letter carrier for the United States Postal Service, and an even harder-working mother of two. She is survived by her loving husband, Edgardo Eugenio; mother, Juanita Canlas; and two children, Christopher and Christina. She is further survived by numerous relatives and friends. A Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, October 21, 2010, at Earthman Southwest Chapel, Stafford, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5:00 PM, on Friday, October 22, 2010, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Houston.
