Betty Breaux Champagne

Betty Breaux Champagne passed away on May 17, 2014 in Sugar Land, Texas. Born on March 21, 1931 in New Orleans, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her parents John Sr. and Anna Breaux, Sisters Norma, Marion and Audrey, and brothers Creighton, Malcom and John. She is survived by her loving husband Richard, daughters Janine Champagne Snapp and husband Chris, Michelle Champagne Avalos and husband Adrian, and Susan Champagne Prendergast and husband Al. Grandchildren Hayes and Emily Boado and Cole and Davis Prendergast. She was a loving mother who shared a beautiful life with her devoted husband of 57 years. He was the love and light of her life.

The family would like to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude for the support of all our friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Betty’s honor.

A celebration of life will be held at Earthman’s Funeral Home in Stafford on June 7th, 2014 from 5 -7 PM. ction of Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, Stafford, TX.

She bowled like a champ; played poker like a gambler, and dominoes like, well, those of us who played with her... knows. The stories she used to tell about her grandchildren...she should have written a book, most hilarious. I could go on and on, but you get the picture.....she is sorely missed.
