
BILLY CHARLES GLOVER, age 72, finally lost his battle and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, after a twenty-three year long illness. He was born on May 18, 1938 in Temple, TX, to Don and Helen Marie Horton Glover. Bill was a proud Veteran having served in the United States Army. He worked for Houston Belt and Terminal Railroad for thirty years. Bill was a faithful Christian and was a member of the Sugar Grove Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Gary Lee Glover. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Joni Worman Glover of Meadows Place, TX; daughter, Stephanie Glover Cantu and her husband Fermin Cantu, III of Clermont, FL; grandsons, Drake Cantu and Fermin Cantu, IV of Clermond, FL; brothers, Don Glover and wife Barbara of Monroe, LA, Bob Glover and wife Tong, of The Woodlands, TX, David Glover and wife Judy of The Woodlands, TX; sister-in-law, Linda Johnson and husband Mark of Palestine, TX; brother-in-law, Michael Worman of Houston; Numerous nieces, nephews, many wonderful friends, and his beloved dog, Sassy. A visitation with the family will be held from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 S. Kirkwood, Stafford. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, on Friday, December 31, 2010, at Sugar Grove Church of Christ, 11600 W. Airport Blvd., Meadows Place. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM, at Brookside Memorial Park, 13401 Eastex Fwy., Houston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lilia’s Place, in c/o Sugar Grove Church of Christ, or Memorial Hermann Hospice, 16538 Air Center Blvd., Ste. 200, Houston, TX, 77032.
