

A native of Tambo, Lipa, Batangas, Philippines and proud Houstonian for over 37 years. Carmen was a devout Catholic, prayer warrior, 16 year cancer survivor, philanthropist and master baker. She was one of the kindest and most generous people one would meet. Her passion for baking with love for her family, friends and community translated to legendary cakes, pastries and brownies deserving of her own recipe book. Her compassion and generosity to others was also overwhelming that she always prayed for everyone and would give everything to any one.
Carmen will be forever remembered by her brothers and sisters Eugenio, Lilia, Romy, Frank and Gloria. Carmen will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and extended family and dear friends.
A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, October 7, 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., and Monday, October 8,
3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 South Kirkwood, Stafford, TX 77477.
A Catholic Mass will be celebrated in memory of Carmen on Tuesday, October 9, 2 p.m. at St. Albert of Trapani Catholic Church, 11027 South Gessner Rd, Houston, 77071.
