Cesar Muniz

Cesar "Nunu" MUÑIZ , age 46, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020, at his residence in Houston, TX. A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. on June 19, 2020, at St. Albert of Trapani. Father Vincent Tran of St. Albert of Trapani will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on June 18, 2020, at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Earthman Southwest Funeral Home.

Cesar was born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico on the 2nd day of August 1973. He was a graduate of Bellaire High School in 1992 and received his Associate's Degree in Electronics from ITT Technical Institute, Houston in 1994. He was employed by Sercel as a Test Technician in August 1996, where he worked for over 20 years.

Cesar lived his life to the fullest through simple pleasures. He enjoyed woodworking, congregating with his family and spending time with his canine companion, Kane. He set a great example for his siblings to emulate by being the first of his generation to complete High School and receive a Degree. Despite his deteriorating health, Cesar was a devoted son and uncle who selflessly cared for his parents and grandmother, and assisted in raising his nieces and nephews. He was truly an angel walking amongst us and has now taken his rightful spot in heaven, where he will continue watching over his family.

Cesar is survived by his parents, Jose Felix Muñiz, Sr. and Juana Antonia Muñiz; grandmother, Maria Luisa Jimenez; brothers, Jose Felix Muñiz, Jr. and Juan Antonio Muñiz; sisters, Maria Patricia Muñiz and Nancy Martinez; fifteen nieces and nephews; over a dozen aunts and uncles; and other family and friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Nicolas Muñiz and Patricia Perez.
