I didn't get to spend much time with you growing up but I remember hearing of your adventures at work and play.  It almost made me think of you as a super hero, adventurer, movie character.  Now, after hearing so many stories from family and friends, I know I wasn't far off.  It makes me proud to have be your niece.  You were a hard working, thoughtful, and true friend to all you met.  Thank you for your service to your country, your example and your unconditional love.  Rest in peace Uncle Dan.
