David M. Jamail

He graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1945 and went on to graduate from Rice Institute in 1949 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He then went on to serve his country in the United States Army.

David was a man full of love and kindness for all around him. He loved having Christmas parties and Sunday dinners with all his family and was affectionally known to al his nieces and nephews as “Uncle David” and they will miss him terribly.

David was a man of faith, going to Mass every morning before going to work. He worked until his illness at age 85.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Josephine Jamail and his sister, Esther Bofysil.

He is survived by his sister, Annette Schwab and his brother, Donald Jamail and wife Joann; numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation service on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at Earthman Southwest Funeral Directors, 12555 S. Kirkwood, Stafford, TX 77477. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 6921 Chetwood, Houston, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations honoring David are made to the charity of your choice.
