

Debra later joined St. John Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. If you knew Debra, you knew that she was meant to be a giver – a representation of God’s hands on Earth. She graduated in the class of 1980 from Captain Shreve High School and later attended Texas Southern University. In addition to living a purposeful life, Debra enjoyed traveling. Whether by plane or boat, she seized every opportunity to explore different places, finding beauty in this world. There is no doubt, about the LOVE she had and felt toward her family.
Debra married Anthony Udombat and to their union, two sons were born: Nsykan Anthony and Isongesit Jermiah Udombat.
She devoted over thirty years of service to Texas Children’s Hospital.
Debra was an exceptional aunt to Chiamaka Egenti, Rajhnei (Ashley) Rasco, Jermauria (Dannyell) Rasco, Xiavien Rasco, Tikem Thomas, Anietie (Benjamin) Essien, Eno-Obong (Olakunle) Oregbesan, Kufre Udoh, and Obot Udoh.
Along with her beloved nieces and nephews, she leaves cherished memories to her sisters: Jacqueline Egenti, Gwendolyn (Maurice) Henry, and Shezekia Lewis, and a host of grand nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Family and friends gather to celebrate the farewell and voyage of Debra on Friday, February 2 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 South Kirkwood Road in Stafford.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 3 at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 South Kirkwood Road in Stafford.
The interment will follow, via funeral procession to Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
Following the interment, all are invited to gather with the family and share remembrances of Debra during a repast lunch to be held at 3:30 p.m. in the event room at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home.
Serving, as pallbearers during Saturday’s service are Rajhnei Rasco, Tikem Thomas, Jermauria Rasco, Herman Harris, Xiavien Rasco and Kufre Udoh.
Honorary pallbearers are Caiden Washington, Arius Rasco, Landon Rasco, Eazy Rasco, Treu Rasco, Ten Rasco and Aermia Rasco.
As we celebrate her final voyage, let us forever remember her love.
