Dominga Cortez born on October 7, 1945 in Sugar Land, TX, gained her angel wings on March 1, 2017 in Houston, TX. She is survived by her husband, Abel Cortez, her five children Abel Cortez Jr, Anthony Cortez, Pamela Cortez, Patrick Cortez and Peter Cortez. Her seven grandchildren Aiden Cortez, Chelsy Say, Hailey Say, Abigal Cortez, Landon Cortez, Lincoln Cortez and Waylon Cortez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Candelario and Maria Salazar, her brother Joe Salazar, sisters Mary Arteaga and Josephine Mena.
Minga devoted her time to her family. She was full of love and happiness and loved to create beautiful memories with every person she touched. Minga had a heart of gold, and was always there to lend a helping hand. Minga was a loving, supporting, wife, mother and grandmother. She did all she could to bring joy and love into her family. She will be missed by many.
We will always remember her charming laughter, unselfish generosity and genuine heart.
