EDGAR LAVERN BROWN, age 84, passed away December 25, 2010. He was a World War II Veteran of the United States Navy and a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local # 54, for over fifty years. Edgar was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar D. and Katherine Brown; and his brother, James Franklin Brown. He is survived by his wife, Edith Lotspeich Brown; daughters, Karen Brown Whiteside and her husband Charles, and Brenda Diane Brown; son, Roy C. Brown and his wife Kimberly; sisters, Joyce Brown Shinn, Mary Jo Connerly, and Rebecca Sue Ware; grandson, Kevin C. Brown; granddaughters, Amy Renee Whiteside, April Whiteside, Laura Baker, and Erin Ortegal; and many other loving family members and friends. A visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Earthman Southwest Chapel, Stafford. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 31, 2010, at Houston National Cemetery.
