Fay Meyer

FAY MEYER, age 78, of Stafford, Texas passed away, Tuesday, November 8, 2011. She was born July 28, 1933, in Louise, Texas. Fay was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was Charter President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post # 4010, in Stafford, and President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary District 16. Fay also served as Texas Chairman of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW’s Cancer Aid and Research. An avid bowler, she traveled with her husband, Robert, all over the state of Texas competing in various tournaments. She was preceded in death by both her parents; two brothers and three sisters. Fay is survived by her husband of fifty- nine years, Robert; sons, Frank, Don, Ken, and their spouses; seven grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; one older brother; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. A visitation with the family will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 South Kirkwood, Stafford, TX, with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Moulton Cemetery, Moulton, Texas. Flowers can be sent to Earthman Southwest Funeral Home.
