Frances Fran Hoskins

Frances “Fran” Hoskins, age 86, of Houston, formerly of Richmond, Indiana, passed away January 28, 2013. She was born July 24, 1926 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Rex and Helen Overman. Fran was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Hoskins, and sons, David Hoskins and Michael Hoskins. She is survived by her daughters, Becky Ridpath and husband Tom of Cedar Park TX, Linda Dingle and husband Steve of Richmond IN; daughter in-law, Debra Walters and Anita Williams; sister, Nancy Stanley of Richmond, IN; five grandchildren: Adriane McWeeney, Jason Hoskins, John Ridpath, Melissa Smith, and Eric Ridpath; eleven great-grandchildren and three great- great- grandchildren. She lived a long full life, and Fran’s home was always open to anybody and everybody, including all creatures great and small. A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 S. Kirkwood, Stafford, TX 77477. Fran will be laid to rest at Earlham Cemetery, Richmond IN at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
