Gerald John Bush Sr.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Alice P. Bush, his father, Herbert R. Bush Sr., brothers Herbert R. Bush Jr. and W.M. (Bill) Bush.

He is survived by the love of his life, Dolores V. Bush, to whom he was married for 59 years and their five children, twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

Children, Jocelyn Bush Carby, Jerry Bush Jr. (Cindy), Jil Bush Treybig (Mike), Jon Bush (Anna), Jay Bush (Jennifer).

Grandchildren, Michelle Kurylowicz (Jon), Marshall Carby (Sarah), Taylor Bush, Jordan Bush, Alexis Bush, Jayme Girndt (Jordan), Jessica Treybig, Jenna Treybig, Ian Bush, Jackson Bush, Riley Bush, Jacob Bush and many nieces and nephews.

Jerry was an active member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church where he served as a twenty year member of the choir, extraordinary minister and Monday morning money counter. Jerry was an active member of the Serra Club of Southwest Houston serving as president from 1991-1992.

He was also a former coach in Westbury Little League, Westbury Steers Fun Football and Marian Christian High School Colts.

In addition to his love of family, church and Serra Club, he enjoyed golf, the LSU Tigers and Old Milwaukee Beer.

He touched so many lives and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Easter Seals or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Visitation will be Monday, June 20th from 5:00pm- 7:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Earthman’s Southwest Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 21st at 12:00pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Houston.
