

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Harold Keith Deeton, who departed from this world at his residence on June 11, 2024. Harold has brought immense happiness to those in his presence ever since his birth on December 11, 1956, in Alexandria, Virginia. He was the cherished offspring of Royden Oliver Deeton and Jackie Gwendolyn Fleming.
Harold embarked on his journey as a Master Mechanic at Hub Buick in Houston, TX, where he diligently refined his craft. He later became a co-owner at the University of Firestone until 1999 and eventually concluded his illustrious career at Southwest Infiniti in 2024 after 25 years of unwavering service. A devout member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Missouri City, Texas, Harold also excelled in the realm of martial arts, achieving the esteemed rank of Sensei 2nd Degree Nidan Black Belt.
In addition to his professional triumphs, Harold was recognized for his infectious sense of humor, playful demeanor, and culinary prowess. As a proficient grill master and outstanding cook, he always welcomed family and friends with open arms. His kind heart and hospitable nature ensured that he never encountered a stranger.
Harold's legacy shall persist through his devoted wife of 48 years, Kathy Deeton, his adoring daughter Heather Deeton, beloved son Mark, daughter-in-law Brittany Deeton, treasured grandchildren Mackenzie and Jameson Deeton, as well as his special relatives, Sydney and Shelby Gaines. He is also survived by his stepmother Rose Deeton, his sisters Cecelia Dolen and her spouse Charles, and Catherine Graham, and brothers James and Francis Deeton, along with aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Harold is predeceased by his parents, Roy Deeton and Jackie Fleming, and his brother Stephen Deeton.
