Throughout his life, Jack touched the lives of family, friends, and neighbors through his presence, kindness, and the memories he leaves behind. A Korean War veteran, he served his country with honor, and his life will be honored and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jack also enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He loved his Camaro, sharing a beer with friends, and watching old westerns on television. These favorite pastimes reflected the easygoing spirit and familiar comforts that made him special to those closest to him.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Allen Thigpen, his parents, Edwin Thigpen and Thelma Jones Thigpen and his brother James Edwin Thigpen.
A graveside service will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery, 2602 S. Houston Ave in Humble, on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
