Obituary of Jake Charles Giambelluca
Jake Charles Giambelluca, age 80, residing in Stafford, TX passed away on February 28, 2023, from natural causes. Jake, born on September 4, 1942, grew up in Stafford and joined the Army after graduating from Dulles High School. After his service was completed he came back home and started the Red Dart Lounge in Houston which he ran for a few years. Then he became part owner in The Palace Club in downtown Houston. A few years after those endeavors, he started Rainbow Bait and Tackle fishing shop off Main Street in Stafford, which he enjoyed running for many years. Some of his more prominent customers included the Oilers Bum Phillips and Earl Campbell. Then in 1973, he founded Southern Vending and established accounts all across southwest Houston. Over the last 14 years, he worked side by side with his son to teach him the business and ensure the legacy of Southern Vending would live on. He enjoyed stopping in on all his accounts and reminiscing with good friends he meet there. He was always ready with a good story and some great laughs. He was well loved among his community and seemed to know everyone he came across. At the age of 32, he married, and went on to have three beautiful children Brian, Paul, and Christopher, which he loved dearly. Jake lived a full life, he enjoyed collecting and driving cool cars especially T-Birds and playing pool with friends as well playing drums with various bands. He was known to love cats and was always willing to care for any strays that came his way. In his later life, he enjoyed spending time with his six grandkids and chatting for hours over a hot cup of coffee. He is survived by his three children and his six grandchildren Jake, Luke, Emma, Lorenzo, Aryana, and Mateo. He was much loved and will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Dad until we meet again.
