Janet Haynes Quinn Everitt

"Janet Haynes Quinn Everitt, 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 25, 2013. She was born on June 20,1928 in Birmingham, AL to Tollie and Billie Quinn. She was a graduate of Decatur, GA Girls High School and received her Bachelors degree from Agnes Scott College. She is survived by George Everitt, her husband of over 62 years, and their sons Thomas and his wife Beth of Aiken, SC; David and his wife Suzi of Clinton, TN and Daniel and his wife Lynn of Braselton, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Those who love her will remember her as an intelligent woman who inspired all by her patriotism and love of country. She was an avid reader of all forms of literature but had a special love of mysteries. She enjoyed golf and was a member of the Quail Valley Women's Golf Association. She and her husband George loved to travel with friends on golf trips, and particularly loved ocean cruises.

Janet was a loving wife, mother and great friend to all who knew her. Please join Janet's family for a visitation, Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM at Earthman Southwest, 12555 S. Kirkwood, Stafford, 77477. There will be a memorial service at First United Methodist Church - Missouri City, 77459, Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 4:00 PM to celebrate Janet's Life.
