I first met JD over 15 years ago, while I worked for a bonding company in Houston. He was a straight shooter and an avid music lover. We hit it off immediately. He showed me the ropes for skip tracing and we eventually worked together in both security and investigations. I deeply regret missing his send off and my heart goes out to Jalise and the kids. Y'all are in my hearts and prayers as you go thru this transition. He's in a better place now. We'll see each other again...

Enjoyed the brief I got to work and got to know you. Wish we had had for time.
Sadden to me is the fact I just found out of your passing. I pray your forgiveness and that of your family that did not attend your service. I hope you JD Farmer consider me to the Lord as your friend. Rest in Peace. Till we meet for again on the grave yard shift.

JD was my uncle but felt more like my little brother. One of the most recent times he spent a week with me. We spent those days reminiscing about growing up, telling stories, and laughing until we cried. Laughing at the good times and able to laugh at the bad times too. We thought we were still cool, even though I was in my 50s and he wasn’t far behind. Growing up there was anger sometimes but never hatred. All he ever wanted was to be accepted and loved by our family, one of our bonds that we shared. JD, you had a good heart with unconditional love. I will never forget you, JD, cuz you’ll always be with me. Tell Honeydaddy I said hello and I love him. I’ll see y’all when I get there. Just don’t rush me.

Love, Ricky

J.D. was a character whom I loved like a brother. We traveled all over the country for over 15 years chasing down bond jumpers. J.D. loved what hid did and he was no stranger to pain. He is in a better place now and free of pain . I cried when I found out he had passed but I know he is sitting at the right hand of Jesus.
