JIMMIE LEE MCMILLAN, age 77, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011, in Sugar Land, Texas. He was born on October 25, 1933, in Hallett, Oklahoma. Jimmie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He then went on to begin his long-time career as an engineer. Jimmie was a master craftsman; he could create and figure out anything. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Lee McMillan; mother, Kathern Orndorff; step-father, Curly Orndorff; and sister, Louise McMillan. Jimmie is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Irene McMillan, of Houston; son, Stacy McMillan and, in his eyes, daughter-in-law Charlene Haines, and grand children, Austin and Brandon, of Aurora, Colorado; and sister, Virginia "Ginny" Runyan, of Rifle, Colorado. A private Celebration of Jimmie’s life was held at his favorite restaurant, Pappasito’s, with close friends and family.
