He served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969 and was proud of his country and his flag. He served in the Vietnam War and received his GED while serving. After, he worked multiple places and had different occupations but his most recent job was working at Wal-Mart for 10 years as a department manager. His passions were playing with his dogs, watching TV, listening to his oldies but goodies music, and joking around with his family and friends. Even though he resides in Houston his heart was always with Chicago where he lived for 50 years and loved his favorite teams The Bulls, The Bears and The White Sox.
Jorge is survived by this beautiful wife Blanca of 28 years, his son Henry, daughter Beatriz, and daughter Cynthia along with his 4 sisters, Marina, Martha, Velia, and Irma and his 1 brother, Luis (Chacho), and his beloved dogs Bruno and Lucy. He was also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
Jorge was a great father, husband, brother, and friend always joking around with his family and friends at his work. He was a warrior, a fighter, and never gave up through his struggles. He never wanted anyone to be upset and wanted to make everyone he met happy and laugh. His family was his number one priority before anything else. He will be most remembered by his joking manner and his sarcastic insults all while protecting his daughter Beatriz and joking around with his son Henry.
