I am just now hearing this news and am heartbroken for the loss of my friend, Kathleen. We were best of friends through HSPVA and stayed in touch over the years since, mostly our annual Christmas letter exchange. My prayers are with every member of Kathlee's family. She will be missed. A beautiful dancer and friend. She is truly dancing in the heavens.

I was so sad to hear of Kathleen's passing.  She was a phenomenal dancer, choreographer and teacher that I am so grateful to have had the honor to study under.  My prayers and thoughts are with her family in this time.

I met Kathleen only recently, but she made a huge impression on me. She was full of love and hope. It was an honor and a blessing to have known Kathleen. She will be truly missed. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I had the chance to meet Kathleen at HSPVA. She was the most sharing and open person. We worked and danced often together which was not only an enriching learning experience but also a very sincerely shared human experience the times being what they were then. She was a joy to share the stage with, a real daredevil in her approach to her work, as well as an extremely generous performer. She danced the same way that she lived. Kathleen was my classmate in the dance department at HSPVA.  She was a beautiful and soulful dancer, and a gracious and generous person. Though I have not seen her since high school, I have always remembered her bright smile and positive energy. My sincere condolences go to her family and friends.

I was very saddened to hear this news today. We became friends at HSPVA . Being in the orchestra that accompanied the dance dept on many occasions, I was able to see that she had a God given talent.She was not only an amazing dancer , but was always sweet and kind to everyone she met. Very saddened today to hear this news.
We actually became friends while attending high school together at HSPVA. Being in the orchestra that accompanied the dance dept on many performances , I was able to see the passion , with which she danced. She definitely had a God given talent. She was always kind and sweet to everyone. I was very happy that I was able to enroll my daughter Katherine, to be taught by her. My , what an angel our Lord has gained ! She was one of the nicest people I met at ASG.  God bless her soul.

My husband, Kody, and I met Kathleen at a security conference with our husbands in Florida in 1997.  We sat together at dinner that night and realized we were both from Texas and we both owned dance studios. After that, we met up every summer at a dance convention.  Her smile was out of this world.  I loved to watch her dance.  There was a true love and passion that came from her smile.  Praying for her family!

Words cannot begin to express my sympathy for your loss.  I've known and loved Kathleen for over 20 years first through St Phillips then through KPDC -- she was so very special to so many but first and for most, she loved her family, her God and Dancing.  Everyone who knew knew her was better for having had her in their life.  The world is a better place for her having been in it.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

It was an honor and privilege to be in the same dance room with Kathleen at TATD. She always had a smile on her face and was always kind and friendly toward everyone. She was the true definition of grace as a dancer and person. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and those who had the privilege of learning from her. I was blessed to say I knew Kathleen. Gone WAY too soon. I hope to dance beside her again some day.

I don't think I have words to express how much I loved Kathleen and how much she meant to me. She was a beautiful sweet soul, my sister in Christ, my mentor in teaching dance and someone who gave me advice when I had my first child. I know God brought me to her to teach dance at her studio. I do look forward to the time that I see her again. I am so sorry for Mary, Erin, Larry, Larryn & Steven. I have never been so heart broken over a loss, she will be missed by so many. Her reach extends far & wide. Love to all of you.
