Kathleen Louise Moody

Born in Springfield, Illinois, Kathy was the daughter of Lawrence Emil Wessel and Marian Pacotti, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moody, and her brother John Wessel.

Kathy dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker. She found joy in painting, gardening, shopping, and, above all, spending time with her grandchildren. She had a special love for animals and treasured the companionship they brought throughout her life.

Those who knew Kathy will remember her as a unique and independent woman who lived life on her own terms. Her strength of character and individuality left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Kathy is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Moody and Ivy Meek (Jeremy); and her cherished grandchildren, Lyra Meek and Max Meek.

A memorial service celebrating Kathy’s life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home12555 S. Kirkwood Road, Stafford Texas with a reception to follow.

Kathy will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
