Louis is survived by his wife of 50 years, Aurora Rocha. In those 50 plus years, they’re favorite past time was dancing and fishing and lots of it! Louis loved to dance and listen to all genres of music, among his favorites, though were classics like Nat King Cole and “El Puma” Marco Antonio Solis. He also loved spending time with his step grandkids, Nicolas Villasana, Sophia and Olivia Contreras.
He was a foodie but mostly enjoyed anything sweet and could not go without coffee. Louis' favorite saying was, “I’m fine.”
Louis was a war veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1953-1961.
He is survived by his brother, Johnny Newsome and his sister, Doris Sinclair Banket and a number of nieces and nephews. Louis was preceded in death by his mother, Leola Newsom; siblings, Sue White, Warren Sinclair; his first wife Angeline Sinclair and their stepdaughter. He is also survived by his three daughters and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
He will be missed.
