Lucila attended University of Santo Tomas in Manila and earned a B.S. in Pharmacy in 1968 and a B.S. in Medical Technology in 1969. She devoted her professional life to St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, where she served as a Medical Technologist for more than 20 years. During Tropical Storm Allison in June 2001, she was part of the hospital’s ride-out team and received an award recognizing her service. She retired in April 2017.
Lucila shared 54 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Felix Enriquez Jr. Together, they built a family grounded in love and faith. She was the mother of Edwin Enriquez (deceased), Emily Tolosa, and Eric Enriquez; grandmother to Halie, Delsey, Cai, Renn, Zion, and Ellie; and great-grandmother to Tydus, West, and Ollie. She is also survived by her siblings Lina, Lulu, Edgardo, and Efren.
Her family was always at the center of her heart, and she found great joy in attending birthdays, sporting events, Grandparents’ Day, and school performances for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lucila enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—scratch tickets and casino games on her iPad, playing Pokeno with family, watching Filipino dramas, and caring for her many plants. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling the world and taking Viking cruises with her husband.
Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. Lucila was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rosenberg. She served in Eucharistic ministry alongside her husband and daughter and was involved with the Fiesta Pilar celebrations at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Sugar Land.

Committal Service will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077, on September 4, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
Lucila will be remembered for her generous heart, unwavering faith, quiet strength, and devotion to her family. Above all, she loved deeply and showed that love simply by being present. Her memory will live on in the family and friends she cherished.
