Lynn graduated from York Community High School class of 1962. She worked in retail at several retail establishments including Marshall Fields in Chicago. Her retail area of expertise was gourmet housewares.
She was an avid dog lover and contributed to various animal charities.
She had a lifelong passion for arts and crafts including, arranging flower, sewing costumes, jewelry making, making decorations and decorating the home and yard for the holidays.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Charlotte Smith, sister Kathleen and Bill Koch, and sister Penny Brockman.
Lynn is survived by her loving husband James Sefcovic of 56 years, daughters Pamela Love and her husband John Love, Kimberly Sefcovic and her husband Mike Renger, and sister Elaine Carlson and her husband Tom Carlson.
