Mack Bailey is one of seven children born, on August 25, 1920, to Allen Bailey and Lillie Walker Bailey in Midway, Texas. He departed this life on February 8, 2017, 5:27a.m. at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Preceding in his death are his parents Mr. & Mrs. Allen Bailey, wife Mrs. Ethel Bailey, five brothers and sisters, and one surviving brother Elmo Bailey. He leaves to mourn, his daughter, Shirley (Redell, Jr) Smith; grandchildren, Maxie Bailey, LaTasha (Eric) Holliday, and Redell Smith III, all of Houston, Texas; 4 great-grandchildren Jasmine, Tearra, Eric Jr and Jaylon, 2 great great-grandchildren Mackenzie and ZaVion, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Home Going Services will take place on Friday, February 17, 2017 at South Union Church of Christ 7427 Ardmore Street, Houston, Texas 77054.
Wake: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Funeral: 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Interment will follow in Houston National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
