Maria Fernanda Franco de Mesias

María Fernanda Franco de Mesias, nuestra querida Fer, falleció el 9 de Mayo del 2014 en su casa de Sugar Land, Texas.

Fer fue una leal testigo de Jehová por 31 años desde su bautismo a los 18 años. Durante su carrera cristiana sirvió como precursora auxiliar, precursora regular, recepcionista del local de Asambleas de Rosenberg, trabajadora voluntaria en obras de construcción y socorro. Su amor a los animales la motivo a estudiar tecnología veterinaria y trabajar por varios años en la clínica veterinaria “Highway 6” en Sugar Land, Texas. También fue voluntaria docente en el zoológico de Houston edificando en niños y visitantes amor por los animales. Quienes tuvimos el privilegio de compartir nuestra vida con Fer en Ecuador, en Venezuela, en Mexico, en el Valle del Rio Grande y en Houston en Texas la recordaremos por su amor, franqueza, trato cariñoso, alegría, diligencia y positivismo ante la adversidad.

Le sobreviven a Fer su esposo de 24 años Miguel Mesias, su madre Sara Polo de Franco, su padre Walter Franco y sus hermanos Constanza y Pablo. Sus queridas hermanas y amigas de varias congregaciones de los Testigos de Jehová del Sur-Oeste de Houston fueron un socorro fortalecedor y ofrecieron ayuda práctica permanente a la familia Mesias a lo largo de su enfermedad.

El discurso funeral tendrá lugar el día Sábado 17 de Mayo 2014, a las 2:30 de la tarde en Salón del Reino de los Testigos de Jehová ubicado en el 11611-“B” Beechnut Street, Houston, Texas 77072.

Maria Fernanda Franco de Mesias, our beloved Fer, passed away on May 9, 2014 at her home in Sugar Land, Texas.

Fer was a loyal Jehovah's Witness for 31 years since her baptism at age 18. During her christian career she served as auxiliary pioneer, regular pioneer, receptionist at the Rosenberg Assembly Hall, volunteer for construction and relief work. Her love for animals motivated her to study veterinary technology and to work for several years in the veterinary clinic " Highway 6 " in Sugar Land, Texas. Fer was also a volunteer docent at the Houston zoo teaching children and visitors love for animals. Those of us who shared our lives with Fer in Ecuador, Venezuela, Mexico and Texas will remember her love, her honesty, her openness, her gentle ways, her joy, her diligence and her positive attitude during adversity.

Fer is survived by her husband of 24 years Miguel Mesias, her mother Sara Franco Polo , her father Walter Franco and her siblings Constanza and Pablo. Her beloved sisters and friends from various congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses in the South -West area of Houston offered loving kindness and practical help to the Mesias family throughout her illness.

The funeral talk will take place on Saturday May 17, 2014 , at 2:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 11611 - "B" Beechnut Street, Houston , Texas 77072 .
