Marilyn Bourg Cheaney

Marilyn Bourg Cheaney, 90, of Sugar Land, TX died January 17, 2022. She was born December 14, 1931 in Galveston, TX to Louis and Lizzie Bourg. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles W. Cheaney; sons, Chuck Cheaney, Carl Cheaney and Tim Cheaney; grandson, Adam Cheaney, and sister, Joan DeShazo. She is survived by her children; Carol Hopkins, Chris Cheaney, Clint (Mary Ellen) Cheaney, Terry (Mary) Cheaney, Jennifer Listi; daughter-in-law Carla Cheaney and brother-in-law Derwin DeShazo; grandchildren Toby Cheaney, Trudy (Wayne) Touchet, Clayton Cheaney, Matthew (Kristen) Cheaney, Sean (Kelly) Hopkins, Nick (Effie) Cheaney, Kelly Hopkins, Frank (Kimberly) Listi, Lauren (Thomas) Thoma, Dorothy (Aubrey) Listi, Sophia Cheaney and Charlie Cheaney; and twelve great-grandchildren. She also leaves many beloved friends and extended family members. A rosary recital will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 4:00 pm followed by visitation until 6pm at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home located at 12555 S. Kirkwood, Stafford, TX 77477. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 11:00 am at St Theresa’s Catholic Church, 705 St Theresa Blvd., Sugar Land, TX 77498. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale, located at 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. Marilyn’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
